Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate cross-departmental operations during declared emergencies
- Manage distribution of medical supplies and vaccines to high-risk populations
- Conduct risk assessments for vulnerable communities
- Train first responders and healthcare partners in emergency procedures
- Liaise with FEMA, CDC, and state health authorities
- Prepare after-action reports and improve response frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or Emergency Management
- 3+ years crisis response experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300/400)
- Expertise in epidemiological surveillance and data analysis
- Strong familiarity with Baltimore's public health landscape
- Ability to work 24/7 during emergencies
- Valid Maryland driver's license
