Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies for diverse communities
- Lead field operations for mass vaccination/testing sites during outbreaks
- Analyze real-time epidemiological data to inform response decisions
- Train and deploy emergency response volunteers across 12 Minneapolis districts
- Collaborate with hospitals, schools, and community organizations on unified protocols
- Manage federal grant compliance for emergency response programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years crisis response experience in government/nonprofit setting
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent credential
- Advanced proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency software platforms
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams under pressure
- Fluency in Spanish, Somali, or Hmong preferred
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean record
- FBI background clearance required
