This critical role requires immediate deployment to safeguard public health during emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency disaster response operations
- Lead disease surveillance and outbreak investigation teams
- Manage public health emergency communications and public alerts
- Train community health workers on emergency response procedures
- Oversee vaccine distribution and medical supply logistics during crises
- Prepare and submit emergency response reports to federal/state authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health emergency response
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Strong knowledge of CDC/EMA emergency protocols
- Experience with crisis communication and public messaging
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work 24/7 during emergency activations
