Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting community health disparities
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations for outreach initiatives
- Prepare reports for city council and public health board meetings
- Lead crisis response during public health emergencies
- Supervise departmental staff and program budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of public health administration experience
- Valid Nebraska Public Health Certification
- Proven grant management and budget oversight skills
- Strong data analysis and report writing abilities
- Experience with health program evaluation methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health privacy regulations
