Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity initiatives
- Conduct epidemiological research and data analysis to identify emerging health trends
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers to coordinate outreach programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead public health emergency response planning and execution
- Provide technical assistance to underserved communities through targeted interventions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS, R, or SAS
- Experience developing health equity frameworks and community engagement strategies
- Valid California Public Health Microbiology certification preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of California public health regulations and reporting requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin required
