Responsibilities
- Oversee development and execution of public health emergency response protocols
- Manage cross-departmental health initiatives with city/state agencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Lead community health education campaigns targeting vulnerable populations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CDC, and Indiana State Health Department standards
- Supervise program budgets and allocate resources efficiently
- Represent the department in intergovernmental health forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of government/public sector health experience
- Active Indiana Public Health Administrator certification
- Proficient in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Demonstrated crisis management experience in public health emergencies
- Strong knowledge of federal healthcare regulations (ACA, HIPAA)
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- Valid Indiana driver's license
