Responsibilities
- Oversee public health emergency preparedness programs including pandemic response protocols
- Develop and implement community health initiatives targeting vulnerable populations
- Manage federal/state grant compliance and reporting requirements
- Coordinate multi-agency health screenings and vaccination campaigns
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform public health policy decisions
- Supervise 15+ staff members across three community health centers
- Represent Louisville at state health department meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of government/public health experience
- Kentucky residency required (within 30 days of hire)
- FEMA certification in emergency management preferred
- Experience with HRSA grant administration
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Proficiency in public health data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Must pass federal background check and security clearance
