Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting community wellness initiatives
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships for emergency preparedness responses
- Oversee departmental budget allocations and resource optimization
- Lead community outreach campaigns on health education and prevention
- Supervise program staff and evaluate performance metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health administration or program management
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and OSHA compliance standards
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential preferred
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and fund management
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
