Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease trends and inform public health interventions
- Develop and implement community health assessment reports for vulnerable populations
- Coordinate emergency preparedness response plans for public health threats
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers on disease surveillance initiatives
- Design health education programs targeting at-risk communities
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Present findings to stakeholders including government officials and community leaders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health data analysis or program management
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping tools
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel within Duval County
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and public health reporting regulations
- Experience developing community health improvement plans
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
