Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Develop evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations in North Texas
- Collaborate with local health departments, hospitals, and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for state policymakers
- Monitor program compliance with federal/state regulations and funding requirements
- Lead community outreach initiatives to improve health literacy and access
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health analysis experience in government/nonprofit settings
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of CDC/DSHS guidelines and reporting protocols
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders
- Valid Texas driver's license and willingness to travel across North Texas
- Experience with grant writing and federal program administration
