Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans for Memphis metropolitan area
- Conduct community health assessments and rapid surveillance during outbreaks
- Train healthcare workers and first responders in emergency protocols
- Manage resource allocation for emergency medical supplies and personnel
- Prepare real-time situation reports for state leadership and media communications
- Leverage data analytics to predict and mitigate public health risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in crisis response or public health coordination
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Proficiency in emergency management software and GIS mapping tools
- Strong background in community engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to work 24/7 rotations during emergency activations
- Tennessee residency required within 30 days of hire
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
