Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform intervention strategies
- Develop and implement community health education programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve access to preventive services
- Prepare comprehensive reports and grant proposals for public health initiatives
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Conduct community needs assessments and stakeholder engagement activities
- Maintain compliance with state and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in public health or healthcare analytics
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) highly desirable
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and public health reporting standards
- Experience with community outreach and stakeholder collaboration
- Valid California driver's license for field work
