Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends
- Develop evidence-based health intervention programs
- Collaborate with community stakeholders and partners
- Prepare reports for city leadership and public audiences
- Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Support emergency preparedness initiatives
- Stay current with public health research and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health or healthcare analytics experience
- Advanced data visualization and statistical analysis skills
- Strong written communication and report-writing abilities
- Experience with public health databases (e.g., CHIS, BRFSS)
- Knowledge of health equity principles and cultural competence
- Valid California driver's license (if required for field work)
