Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend interventions
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses including pandemic response protocols
- Manage community health education campaigns across diverse neighborhoods
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve access to preventive services
- Prepare grant proposals and manage federal/state compliance reporting
- Lead inter-agency task forces on chronic disease prevention initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH) or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of government/public health experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in SPSS/STATA for health data analysis
- Experience with CDC/HRSA grant management systems
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Florida public health statutes (Chapter 381)
