Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging health trends and develop evidence-based intervention strategies
- Collaborate with community organizations to design and implement health equity programs
- Prepare detailed reports and policy recommendations for city leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Conduct community outreach and education on public health initiatives
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and federal grant management
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
- Clearances: DOJ fingerprinting and TB test required
