Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to identify trends and inform strategic planning
- Develop and evaluate health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with state/local agencies to implement public health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders and policymakers
- Monitor program compliance with federal/state regulations and grant requirements
- Lead community outreach efforts to promote health education and equity
- Stay current with evolving public health research and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis or program evaluation
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with public health reporting frameworks (e.g., Healthy People 2030)
- Knowledge of Nebraska public health systems and community resources
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Valid Nebraska driver's license (for occasional field visits)
