Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness protocols for infectious disease outbreaks
- Manage distribution of emergency medical supplies and PPE across SF's 11 districts
- Lead public communication campaigns during health emergencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic response decisions
- Train frontline healthcare workers on emergency procedures
- Collaborate with FEMA and state health agencies for resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years emergency management or public health response experience
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent designation
- Expertise in incident command systems (ICS) and NIMS protocols
- Strong data analysis and crisis communication skills
- Knowledge of SF's diverse communities and health disparities
- Ability to work 24/7 during declared emergencies
