Responsibilities
- Coordinate regional public health emergency responses including natural disasters and disease outbreaks
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans for Dallas County
- Train healthcare providers and community partners on response protocols
- Collaborate with FEMA, CDC, and local emergency management agencies
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for high-impact scenarios
- Manage emergency supply chain logistics and resource allocation
- Prepare situation reports and briefings for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health or emergency response
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent preferred
- Expertise in NIMS/ICS frameworks and HSEEP protocols
- Strong data analysis and crisis communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) certification required
