Responsibilities
- Lead crisis response coordination for public health emergencies (natural disasters, pandemics, biohazards)
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans with federal/state agencies
- Train staff and community partners on emergency protocols and resource deployment
- Analyze real-time health data to inform strategic decision-making
- Manage inter-agency communications during high-stakes situations
- Oversee distribution of emergency supplies and medical resources
- Conduct post-incident evaluations and improvement planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of crisis response coordination experience
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Expertise in FEMA/NIMS protocols
- Proven ability to work under extreme pressure
- Strong data analysis and report-writing skills
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Spanish bilingual preferred
