Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies using epidemiological data and community input
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives addressing health equity and social determinants
- Manage grant-funded projects for chronic disease prevention and health promotion
- Present findings to city council, community stakeholders, and public health boards
- Monitor emerging health threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Lead community health assessments and data visualization initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance
- Knowledge of Nebraska public health regulations and CDC guidelines
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable transportation
