Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency collaborations including hospitals, fire departments, and NGOs
- Lead incident command operations during declared emergencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform resource allocation
- Conduct public risk communications and community outreach
- Oversee training programs for emergency response personnel
- Manage grant-funded projects related to emergency preparedness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in public health emergency response
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in incident command systems (ICS) and NIMS protocols
- Proven crisis communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Valid California driver's license and ability to work irregular hours
- Experience with grant management and budget oversight
