Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency health responses across Tarrant County
- Develop and implement pandemic/outbreak action plans with measurable outcomes
- Lead public health communication strategies for diverse communities
- Manage resource allocation during health crises (vaccines, PPE, testing sites)
- Analyze epidemiological data to drive evidence-based interventions
- Train frontline responders in emergency health protocols
- Collaborate with FEMA, CDC, and state health authorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years crisis response coordination in government/public health
- Experience with NIMS/ICS frameworks and emergency operations centers
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300/400)
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, Epi Info, or similar)
- Spanish fluency required for community outreach
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to work irregular hours
