Responsibilities
- Lead multi-agency emergency response coordination during public health crises
- Develop and execute county-wide pandemic response strategies
- Manage resource allocation for emergency medical supplies and facilities
- Conduct public risk assessments and communication campaigns
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to establish surge capacity protocols
- Train county staff in emergency preparedness procedures
- Monitor health data trends and recommend mitigation actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years crisis response coordination experience
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent
- Expertise in incident command systems (ICS)
- Strong data analysis and risk modeling skills
- Experience with public health communication strategies
- Ability to work 24/7 during emergency activations
- Valid Arizona driver's license
