Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness protocols and incident action plans
- Lead community outreach and public communications during health emergencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform response strategies and resource allocation
- Train and deploy emergency response teams across SF's diverse neighborhoods
- Collaborate with hospitals, NGOs, and federal health agencies
- Manage grant-funded emergency response programs and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven ability to coordinate multi-agency responses under pressure
- Expertise in epidemiological data analysis and emergency communications
- Strong knowledge of SF Bay Area healthcare infrastructure and demographics
- Valid California driver's license and ability to work irregular hours during emergencies
