Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness protocols for vulnerable populations
- Lead field operations during disaster events (e.g., disease outbreaks, natural disasters)
- Manage crisis communication with public officials and community stakeholders
- Analyze incident data to optimize response strategies
- Train and deploy emergency response personnel across Southern Nevada
- Secure critical resources and maintain emergency supply chains
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years crisis management or public health emergency experience
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in incident command systems (ICS/NIMS)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams during high-pressure events
- Knowledge of Nevada public health laws and regulations
- Valid Nevada driver's license and ability to work irregular hours
