Responsibilities
- Lead multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness protocols aligned with CDC/FEMA guidelines
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government partners
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform risk mitigation strategies
- Manage resource allocation and logistics during emergency activations
- Train public health staff and community volunteers on emergency procedures
- Prepare federal/state compliance reports and grant documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health emergency response
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in crisis communication and multi-agency coordination
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency management software
- Demonstrated success in developing emergency response plans
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
