Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency disaster response efforts with local, state, and federal partners
- Lead incident command system operations during declared emergencies
- Analyze public health data to inform resource allocation and risk mitigation
- Conduct community outreach and public risk communication during crises
- Train emergency response personnel on public health procedures
- Prepare grant applications and manage emergency response budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of emergency response or public health crisis experience
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent credential
- Expertise in Incident Command System (ICS) and NIMS protocols
- Strong data analysis and crisis communication skills
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work irregular hours during emergencies
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
