Responsibilities
- Develop and execute emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency operations including healthcare providers and community organizations
- Manage distribution of critical supplies and resources during emergencies
- Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable intelligence to leadership
- Lead public communication campaigns to ensure accurate information dissemination
- Train and deploy emergency response teams across 19 Milwaukee County municipalities
- Monitor emerging health threats and adapt response strategies in real-time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health emergency response coordination
- Current certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Proven ability to manage complex inter-agency partnerships
- Exceptional crisis communication and decision-making skills
- Experience with public health data analysis and reporting tools
- Ability to work 24/7 rotational shifts during emergency activations
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean record
