Responsibilities
- Lead rapid deployment of public health emergency protocols during crises
- Coordinate multi-agency response teams including FEMA, CDC, and local healthcare providers
- Develop and maintain emergency operation center (EOC) protocols
- Analyze real-time data to make critical public health decisions
- Conduct community outreach during emergency events
- Manage grant-funded emergency response programs
- Train personnel in emergency response procedures
- Prepare after-action reports and improvement plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of emergency response or public health experience
- FEMA Professional Development Series (PDS) certification required
- Experience with NIMS/ICS protocols
- Strong data analysis and decision-making skills
- Valid Nevada driver's license
- Ability to work 24/7 during emergency activations
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency management software
