Responsibilities
- Lead emergency response operations during public health crises including disease outbreaks and natural disasters
- Coordinate multi-agency coalitions including local health departments, hospitals, and emergency management
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans for vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform response strategies
- Train public health staff on emergency protocols and incident command systems

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health emergency response
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher

- Strong project management skills with budget oversight experience
- Ability to work irregular hours during emergency activations
- Valid Texas driver's license and willingness to travel statewide
