Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of food establishments, childcare facilities, and public swimming pools
- Investigate public health complaints and potential disease outbreaks

- Educate business owners and the public on sanitation and safety protocols
- Maintain detailed inspection reports and regulatory documentation

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, or related field
- Texas Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of environmental health inspection experience
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and FDA Food Code
- Excellent communication skills for public interactions
