Responsibilities
- Conduct epidemiological investigations for disease outbreaks and public health threats
- Collect and analyze epidemiological data using state surveillance systems
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community partners for case management
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to contain disease spread
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for public health action
- Provide emergency response support during public health crises

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of public health investigation experience
- Certified in Epidemiology (CEPH) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including emergency response rotations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and public health databases
- Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
