Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and health screenings in community outreach programs
- Coordinate disease surveillance and outbreak response initiatives
- Develop and deliver public health education to diverse populations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Document patient encounters and maintain confidential records
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and response activities
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and report findings
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience
- Public health or community health experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support
