Responsibilities
- Lead community immunization campaigns and infectious disease surveillance
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and outbreak response coordination
- Develop and deliver culturally competent health education workshops
- Manage chronic disease prevention programs for underserved populations
- Collaborate with schools, clinics, and community organizations on health initiatives
- Collect and analyze public health data for program evaluation
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and disaster response
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (BRN # required)
- Master's in Public Health (MPH) or BSN with 2+ years public health experience
- Certification in Epidemiology or Public Health Nursing preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Mandarin required
- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., EPIC) and data analytics tools
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
