Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging trends and policy gaps
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for city council and health department leadership
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to implement equitable health programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy briefs for governmental stakeholders
- Monitor compliance with federal/state health regulations and grant requirements
- Lead cross-functional initiatives addressing health disparities
- Represent the department in interagency public health coalitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in health policy analysis or government roles
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in translating data into actionable policy recommendations
- Knowledge of Philadelphia's public health landscape and community needs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (required for field site visits)
