Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Milwaukee's most vulnerable populations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for disease outbreaks and public health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers, community leaders, and state agencies
- Lead community health education campaigns on vaccination, nutrition, and disease prevention
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Prepare detailed reports for policymakers and public health stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Expertise in data analysis using tools like SAS, R, or SPSS
- Strong understanding of Wisconsin public health regulations and Milwaukee community needs
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
