Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data trends to inform policy development for urban health challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design evidence-based intervention programs
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for state officials
- Conduct community needs assessments in Chicago metropolitan area
- Monitor implementation of public health initiatives and evaluate outcomes
- Develop grant proposals to secure funding for priority health programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis or public health program experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Demonstrated experience with health policy development at state/local level
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with policy audiences
- Knowledge of Illinois public health regulations and systems
- Valid Illinois driver's license may be required for field visits
