Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health policies addressing chronic disease prevention and health equity initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and inform strategic planning
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local health agencies to align health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and public health leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on vulnerable populations
- Lead community outreach programs to promote health literacy and access
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health administration or policy development
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong knowledge of Florida public health regulations and healthcare systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for community events
