Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging public health trends in North Texas
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for chronic disease prevention programs
- Coordinate interagency initiatives with Fort Worth Metro Public Health District
- Prepare legislative briefings and policy impact assessments
- Manage community outreach campaigns targeting underserved populations
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and data visualization tools
- Represent agency at state health conferences and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in health policy development or program management
- Proficiency in health data analysis (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Texas residency required (must establish within 30 days of hire)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (HRSA, CDC)
- Strong knowledge of Texas Health and Safety Code
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
