Responsibilities
- Analyze state health legislation and regulatory impacts using quantitative data and stakeholder feedback
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation roadmaps for chronic disease prevention programs
- Coordinate with 92 county health departments to align state initiatives with local public health priorities
- Present policy recommendations to legislative committees and executive leadership using data visualization tools
- Manage grant-funded projects supporting maternal health and opioid crisis response initiatives
- Evaluate program effectiveness through KPI tracking and outcome measurement frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field with 3+ years policy experience
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R) and policy modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with state legislative processes and regulatory compliance
- Strong written communication skills with samples of policy briefs or white papers
- Valid Indiana driver's license for statewide travel requirements
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) designation preferred
- Experience with federal grant management (HRSA, CDC) highly desirable
