Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate comprehensive public health policy frameworks aligned with Indiana's strategic health objectives
- Lead cross-departmental task forces to implement evidence-based health interventions
- Analyze complex healthcare data and legislative trends to inform state-level decision making
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and legislative testimony for state officials
- Manage stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups
- Oversee implementation of federal health grant programs totaling $15M+
- Monitor compliance with state and federal health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare sector
- Expertise in health data analytics and statistical modeling
- Proven track record of developing successful health policy initiatives
- Deep knowledge of Indiana's healthcare landscape and legislative processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Experience managing federal grant programs preferred
