Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee community health intervention programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and allocate resources
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships with hospitals, schools, and non-profits
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets up to $1M
- Lead crisis response teams during public health emergencies
- Create policy recommendations for county commissioners and health board
- Mentor junior staff and supervise cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in government/public health administration
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible within 6 months
- Advanced proficiency in health data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated success in securing federal/state grants
- Experience with Indiana Code Title 16 (Public Health Law)
- Strong crisis management and emergency response credentials
