Job Description
Join Hennepin County's Public Health Division as a Public Health Program Coordinator and drive impactful community health initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations in Minneapolis. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health intervention strategies aligned with county health priorities
- Conduct community needs assessments and data analysis to identify health disparities
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and government agencies
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with public health regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
- Lead health education initiatives and community outreach campaigns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Social Work, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program coordination
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Knowledge of Minnesota public health regulations and grant compliance
- Experience developing culturally responsive health education materials
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred
