Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Collaborate with community stakeholders, healthcare providers, and government agencies to align health initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Manage program budgets, reporting requirements, and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Lead community outreach campaigns and health education workshops
- Oversee grant writing and funding opportunities for public health initiatives
- Supervise program staff and interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of program management experience in public health or healthcare
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with grant management and federal/state reporting requirements
- Strong knowledge of Healthy People 2030 objectives and CDC guidelines
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse communities and organizations
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
