Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Collaborate with community organizations to develop outreach initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and program effectiveness
- Develop grant proposals and secure funding for health initiatives
- Train staff and volunteers on public health protocols and best practices
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county officials and public stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of program management experience in public health/government
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong knowledge of Wisconsin public health regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
