Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public health programs targeting disease prevention and health equity initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and inform strategic planning
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships with healthcare providers, local governments, and non-profit organizations
- Manage program budgets, ensure compliance with state/federal regulations, and prepare grant proposals
- Oversee program evaluation metrics and prepare detailed reports for leadership review
- Lead community outreach initiatives and public health education campaigns
- Supervise program staff and provide mentorship for professional development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program management or healthcare administration
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R) and health information systems
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and ability to travel statewide for program duties
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state funding compliance (HRSA, CDC)
- Knowledge of HIPAA, PHAB standards, and Arizona public health statutes
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to present to diverse audiences
- Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred
