Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and develop targeted intervention strategies
- Oversee grant-funded programs ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Coordinate multi-agency health initiatives including vaccination campaigns and chronic disease prevention
- Prepare comprehensive reports for legislative stakeholders and executive leadership
- Lead community engagement sessions to address health disparities in underserved populations
- Manage budget allocations for public health programs with $2M+ annual responsibility
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program management
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Valid North Carolina Public Health Analyst certification
- Experience with NC state grant management systems
- Strong quantitative analysis skills with SAS/R proficiency
- Demonstrated success in developing health equity initiatives
