Responsibilities
- Design and oversee implementation of public health programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and resource allocation needs
- Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and government agencies
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets exceeding $1M annually
- Lead crisis response initiatives for public health emergencies
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and implement continuous improvement processes
- Present findings to county commissioners and stakeholder committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proven expertise in health equity initiatives and community engagement
- Advanced data analysis skills using SPSS/R or similar platforms
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state funding compliance
- Strong knowledge of Minnesota public health regulations and policies
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
