Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulations for policy implications
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations through quantitative/qualitative research
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Monitor policy outcomes and prepare impact assessment reports
- Manage grant programs and compliance documentation
- Train junior staff on policy development methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years progressive policy analysis experience in government
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R)
- Demonstrated success in drafting legislative proposals
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Clearances: FBI background check and child abuse certification
- Experience with Pennsylvania Sunshine Act compliance
- PHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
