Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and intervention opportunities
- Coordinate with community partners and healthcare providers for resource alignment
- Conduct health education workshops and outreach events
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Evaluate program effectiveness and submit compliance reports
- Lead crisis response initiatives during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
